1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and any services provided by Bizmap Technologies ("Bizmap", "we", "us") in relation to the US Payroll product ("the Software"). By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or services.

2. The Software (open source)

US Payroll is open source software released under the MIT License. Your use, modification and distribution of the Software are governed by that license, which is included with the source code. The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, and you install and run it on your own systems at your own responsibility.

3. Services from Bizmap

Separately from the free Software, Bizmap offers paid services such as installation, configuration, data migration, training, customization and ongoing support. The scope, deliverables and fees for any paid service are agreed in writing for each engagement. Nothing on this website is a binding offer of services until confirmed by Bizmap.

4. Not tax, legal or accounting advice

US Payroll is software that helps you run payroll. It is not tax, legal, accounting or professional advice. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your payroll data, tax calculations, deductions, filings and for your compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. You should confirm your obligations with a qualified professional.

5. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate and lawful information and use the Software and services lawfully.
• Configure, run, file and remit your own payroll, taxes and statutory forms.
• Secure your own systems, accounts, credentials and data.
• Maintain your own backups and review results before relying on them.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Software and the website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Bizmap is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or for any payroll, tax or compliance errors, penalties or interest, arising from your use of the Software, the website or the services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid Bizmap for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

7. Intellectual property

The Software is licensed under MIT. The names, logos and brand elements of "US Payroll" and "Bizmap Technologies" are the property of Bizmap and may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without permission.

8. Third-party platforms

US Payroll runs on ERPNext and the Frappe framework, and may be hosted on Frappe Cloud or your own servers. Those platforms are provided by third parties and are governed by their own terms and policies. Bizmap is not responsible for third-party platforms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with its "last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of the jurisdiction in which Bizmap Technologies is registered have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a different governing law is agreed in writing for a specific engagement.
