## Overview

A **Salary Structure** is a detailed breakdown of an employee's total compensation, showing how much goes to basic pay, allowances, bonuses and deductions. It is a prebuilt 
template that keeps payroll consistent and compliant with company and legal policy.

## Create a salary structure

1. Go to **Home → USA Payroll → Salary Structure**.

2. Click **Add Salary Structure**.

3. Add the earning and deduction components, fill in the details and click **Save**.
