## Overview

A **Salary Structure Assignment** links a particular salary structure to an employee. This 
ensures the employee's salary is calculated using the right structure and base pay.

## Create an assignment

1. Go to **Home → USA Payroll → Salary Structure Assignment**.

2. Click **Add Salary Structure Assignment**.

3. Select the employee and structure, fill in the details and click **Save**.
